Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Project Assistant to work with our growing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) team to help keep our projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing pre-contract items such as:
    • Start-up forms,
    • Risk management items (insurance, W-9 forms, and etc.)
  • Project set-up
  • Assisting project managers with:
    • Preparing project schedules
    • Resource planning
    • Providing status updates on project milestones
  • Compiling financial documents such as:
    • Contracts
    • Prebills
    • Closeouts

The successful candidate must have:

  • Associate degree in an administrative assistants' program (or related field) and at least four years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C (Architectural Engineering and Construction) industry
  • OR if no degree, six years of relevant office experience of which at least two years of experience working in the A/E/C industry in an administrative capacity

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Experience proofing/editing project contracts
  • Experience with project set-up in financial and project software (Deltek Vision strongly preferred)
  • Experience preparing schedules and resource planning using Microsoft Project (or similar) project management software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • File management software experience (such as Newforma or ProCore)
