Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Service Engineer for our Chicago, IL or Irving, TX locations.

The Application Engineer (Cabinet Vision) works closely with the Support & Service Manager - Americas (Application Engineering Supervisor) to meet customer needs. Provide comprehensive, professional application & support services to CABINET VISION's existing customers and resellers. Responsible for the implementation of the various training, integration, and customization functions made available to CABINET VISION end-users in a timely and professional manner.
* Provides Online and/or Onsite training services to customers
* Provides Online and/or Onsite Machine integration services to customers
* Provide Technical Support services when required
* Performs post processor modifications when required
* When needed, provides customer introduction and follow-up calls
* Assists customers by facilitating the creation and modification or creating and modifying custom reports, UCS and catalogues/libraries
* Maintain proper notes on customer interactions
* Obtains and shares customer feedback so products and services can be improved
* Escalate serious complaints or critical issues to next level when resolution cannot be attained
* Identify critical issues and escalate them to Applications Engineering Supervisor, along with possible suggestions for improvement, wherever possible
* Maintain polite, helpful, courteous, and professional manner always
* Performs other related duties as assigned
* High School Diploma or GED required
* 7+ years of related experience
* Previous experience in a software support or service role preferred
* Advanced technical and software skills with the product lines supported required
* Proficient with MS Office
* Skills - Certifications: JavaScript, T-SQL, AWS, Microsoft Azure preferred, not required.
* Ability to learn how to effectively use various software packages.
* Strong Customer Service Skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent analytical, detail oriented, and reasoning skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize work activities.
* Ability to self-manage and motivate
* Works independently as well as in a team environment
