Your Job

As a HR Data Advisor, you will partner closely with HR & business leaders to understand their priorities and strategies. You will guide the development of actionable products in collaboration with technical teams. You will lead projects with organization-wide impact and help design effective change management strategies to drive product awareness and adoption. Through proactive communication, you will consult HR professionals and business leaders on best practices for working with data and how to apply our solutions to everyday questions.

Our Team

The HR Data Advisory team is a collaborative and diverse group of individuals in Koch's Shared Service Organization (Koch Global Services) who partner with Koch's global community of Human Resources professionals to enable them to transform processes and drive data-drive decision making. We create value for Koch by championing the user experience and driving alignment between business priorities and product design.


What You Will Do

  • Develop strong partnerships with HR leaders and partners, leveraging excellent communication skills to build trust and relationships
  • Consult and advise on strategic business and HR initiatives and outcomes with customers and then champion those strategies and objectives as the voice of the customer with our product teams, ensuring metrics and data products continuously align with business requirements
  • Consult and enable HR partners on the use of HR data, analytics best practices, and transformation opportunities
  • Gather detailed requirements for enhancing existing, or delivering new, products
  • Proactively communicate project status updates (verbal and written) with internal partners
  • Plan and lead successful change management and product adoption strategies
  • Partner and collaborate with application and data product teams to deliver product improvements
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and investigation into our current solutions
  • Consult on/Advise HR Data Citizens on how best to construct custom analytics solutions
  • Identify, investigate, and help resolve data quality issues
  • Understand global compliance requirements
  • Champion data privacy and protection
  • Collaborate with a Global team across many time zones


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders (to include executives) to define business outcomes
  • Experience translating business outcomes into functional requirements for product teams
  • Experience working with data - any portion of the data lifecycle with preference toward analysis, visualization, and interpretation
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks effectively


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in or in partnership with a data product team and/or reporting & analytics capability
  • Experience using BI/Data Analytics platforms for data blending/prep, analysis, and visualization (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Infor Birst, etc.)
  • Experience working with data coming from HR technology applications like Infor Cloud suite HCM, SAP, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft or Workday
  • Experience with data security and understanding of global data privacy/security requirements
  • Experience working with a multi-level, complex global organization with multiple customers and business needs
